Biography of Dr. Nancy Reynolds MSs., MHerbalist, CNC, ND
Dr. Nancy graduated salutatorian from DeWitt High School, DeWitt, Ark. in 1964. She attended Stephens College in Columbus, Mo. from 1964 to 1966 where she was in the Honor class for creative writing and had several poems and short stories published in various periodicals including Contemporary Poems of Arkansas. She went on to finish her Bachelor's degree from Little Rock University in 1969 with a major in English and Psychology. She received her Master's degree in Special Education for the deaf in 1972 from the University of Arkansas and taught the following year at the School for the Deaf in Little Rock where she was also editor of the school newspaper. In 1974 she became owner and director of Bells and Beaus Daycare & Kindergarten in Little Rock and also designed and built New Century School in Sherwood. In 1976 she began her own jewelry design company (The Circa Collection) when she moved to Edgemont ,Ark. which she still owns today. She became a Graduate Gemologist in 1990.
Dr. Nancy joined her husband in his clinic in 1982 and received training in acupuncture and DPA & HRV (cardiovascular testing). She received her Master's of Science in Biology and Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, Con. in 1986. In 1990 she was invited to attend, along with her husband, the first International Conference on Systemic Enzyme Therapy held in Klagenfurt, Austria. In 1993 she acquired Gallery G Antiques & Gifts in DeWitt, Ark which she still owns today. In May of 1995 she received the honor of being one of only 16 jewelers worldwide to be trained in Belle Epoch jewelry from the prestigious Sotheby's in a three-day seminar held in Geneva, Switzerland.
Dr. Nancy holds a Doctorate of Naturopathy from Trinity Collage as well as being a Master Herbalist and is a Certified Nutritional Counselor. She is currently working along side her husband, Dr. Reynolds, in their clinic (Alternative Health & wellness) in Edgemont, Ark. as well as writing for several nutrition periodicals including Nutritional Perspectives ( Council on Nutrition).
